Widnes Tennis Academy

Widnes Tennis Academy (Home of Lane Tennis Club) is a friendly and socialable club that aims to provide tennis at every level and for players of all ages.  Our aim:  Simply to make it possible for anyone who wants to play and enjoy tennis.

Situated in secluded secure grounds with a friendly atmosphere, the facility has 6 outdoor tennis courts, 3 indoor tennis courts and 2 indoor kidzone courts, allowing activity for both sporting and social events all year round.  The spacious clubhouse has changing facilities, a bar, catering facilities and offers a superb view of the indoor courts.

The Lane Tennis Club plays in the Warrington Tennis league with a number of teams compreting in Mens, Ladies, Mixed and Junior leagues, with the club winning the Mens 1st Division, the Knockout Handicap Cup, the Mixed 3d Division, Mens 5th Division titles and were runners up in a number of other leagues. The junior teams also competed and won the under 12's league.

Regular coaching sessions are held throughout the year for juniors and adults and dedicated professional tennis coaches are always available for individual tuition. Tennis equipment is available with expert advice for the requirements of the individual and a stringing service is also available.

A full and varied programme of social events takes place all through the year and a well-established team of professional staff ensures that the Club and grounds are kept to a superb standard.
